My Journey at PanScience Innovations: Building, Learning, and Growing Together

Mansi Rawat | Talent Acquisition

Stepping into PanScience Innovations, I knew I was embarking on something different, but I couldn’t have anticipated just how multi-faceted and growth-filled my journey would become. These months, though not long in the grand scheme, have been filled with both challenges and triumphs, teaching me more than I ever expected.

When I first joined, those initial weeks were difficult. I struggled to close any profiles and felt unsatisfied with my progress. Self-doubt crept in, but open conversations with Sneha and Tanisha were invaluable. Together, we would brainstorm and test new ways to move forward and improve our hiring strategies. Slowly, as our hiring efforts picked up and I began to build teams for our Lucknow and Delhi offices, and our various ventures, it started feeling easier and far more rewarding. What made a real difference was knowing that support was always available. Whether I needed help with a key hiring decision or just wanted quick input on an email draft, seniors would always lend their guidance. This open, supportive environment gave me the confidence to try, iterate, and get better at my job with every passing day.

I still remember the day before I officially joined, Tanisha told us, “We’re all nerds here. We’re transparent about what we like and don’t like—because when you enjoy your work, you give it your all.” That’s stuck with me ever since. Whether it’s broad AI hiring or digging into niche tech requirements, I've had the chance to experiment, explore, and genuinely enjoy my work. There are days I don’t even want to leave the office because it feels so meaningful and upbeat.

At PSI, no two weeks are ever the same, our ventures move fast, and priorities shift quickly. So I developed my own way to handle the constant change. I always sit with reporting managers and dig deeper into what really matters for a role, going beyond the job description. This helps me understand the unique skills and mindsets we need, so I can better target my outreach, whether it’s through LinkedIn or our own platforms. Once I review applications, sometimes leveraging our internal recruitment tool DreamHire, my goal is to connect personally with candidates to test not only capabilities but also cultural fit.

One of my proudest contributions has been finding and onboarding people, both interns and full-time, who share our curiosity, hunger for learning, and a drive towards AI and innovation. PSI places tremendous value on mindset. Yes, skills matter, but curiosity and continuous improvement define our team’s success. I feel immense satisfaction when someone I’ve hired grows and is valued by their team, or when an intern secures a PPO and continues with us as a full-time team member.

Defining success at PSI goes far beyond just filling positions. For me, it isn’t about how many people I bring in; it’s about ensuring that every person added to the team excels, is appreciated, and makes an impact. That’s the win, especially when it comes from supporting both superiors and subordinates with clarity, communication, and trust. I’ve learned not to micromanage, but to give my team space to operate, learn from mistakes, and find their own rhythm. At the same time, I deeply appreciate our leadership’s understanding and collaborative spirit when challenges arise.

If there are a few core lessons I’ll never forget, they’re these: always communicate directly and professionally, value both your own time and others’, and never shy away from tough conversations or negotiations. Give feedback, ask smart questions, and, above all, bring that open, growth-driven mindset to everything you do. Here, everyone is encouraged to try new things, experiment, and test their capabilities beyond their job descriptions, because “how else will you know what you’re capable of unless you try?”

For anyone starting at PSI, whether in TA or another domain, know that you’ll be trusted with responsibility and have the space to grow. The only real expectation is that you come in with openness, curiosity, and the hunger to do meaningful work—and that you’re willing to try everything. Even on days that feel overwhelming, I remind myself of one simple word that sums up my experience so far: “Damn.” There’s weight, there’s accountability, and there’s so much more to come.

Recognition that Matters.
